Birthday Fun & Pinterest

Today my oldest baby turns 14.  She is almost as tall as I am, and I'm 5'8".  It is so weird to have a child nearly looking me in the eye. Sometimes she seems so grown up, responsible, hard working, and other times she wants to hold my hand so I can comfort her.  I love this girl so much.  She is so talented and I cannot wait to see how God directs these gifts He's given her. 

She also very much a young girl. I have made a purposeful attempt to make sure my girls don't grow up too fast.  I love that she still wants to decorate for her birthday and have fun little party favors.  I love that part of party planning. And that is where pinterest.com comes in. Look at this great idea I found. So easy with such a big impact.
