Saturday Confessions

Well it is Sunday morning and the house is quiet so I thought I put up my Saturday confessions post and link it to Melissa's.

1. Friday and Saturday we helped our friends move.  I'm exhausted. Moving is a lot of work as most of you know.  Now they have the hard part...figuring out where it's all going to go. I don't want to move ever again.   We moved into our house two years ago. I still have a stack of boxes in the corner of my living room. Want to know what's in it?  Yeah, me too. ;-) I sort of know ~ I think photo albums and picture frames and such. We just have no place to put them, so they have stayed in boxes.

2. In fact, my house is a mess right now because we decided last week to swap girls in the bedrooms. So out came all their stuff. One girl is nicely put back into a room, but the other has her stuff all over the living room. Poor thing. I don't know how long it will be there. Because you all know how it goes, once you start a project, many more breed until you have about 5 before you can put the stuff all back together again.

3. No, I don't have pictures of the move or of my stack of boxes.

4. I had a photo shoot of a family of 8 on Thursday.  It turned out to be a beautiful evening. I was a little scared because we already had to cancel because of the weather. Don't get me started on the weather. I'll get to that at the next point.  This shoot was hard. Lot's of people are hard. Add a dog and well, you know.

5. Yesterday was a nice day. Summer may have finally arrived in the Pacific Northwest.  It is such a bummer because we tend to get such a short summer season anyways. This year it will be even shorter unless the nice weather stays until October. Not holding my breath. Oh, and my previous statement about not wanting to move, that's contingent on our weather.  Because last week when it was raining, I was ready to head to Arkansas!

6. And my last confession:   I rarely listen to music. Only in the car. Almost never in the house.  In fact I just now put music on my iphone after having the phone for a year. But I still have never listened to music on it.  Head phones bug me. My ears start to ache after having them in for about 5 minutes. I don't know how people wear those for so long without their ears aching.

Hope everyone has a good week, and a good week of weather, whether it needs to be warmer in the west or cooler in the mid states. By the way, did you know it's the heat wave in the middle that is causing our unseasonably cold and we summer here in the west?
