Spring

The signs are everywhere.
I love seasons and am so thankful that we experience all four, albeit the winter one feels a bit longer than the others.

As I was walking around the yard today I realized that I haven't posted a recent picture of this.

Little House isn't quite finished yet.  Winter arrived and with it lots of rain and cold.  Last week we finally cleaned it out and put down cheap boards to protect the tongue and groove flooring until we can clean it and seal it.  The girls have been moving in. You see above some furniture they built last summer on their own.  You should have seen them sawing away in the shop with a hand saw and nailing these boards together. I never would have done that as a kid.  They are using a pool ladder to get up into the loft until a ladder is built.  When it gets a little warmer and a little dryer we can put the finishing touches on Little House.

In other news, I was able to tackle the school room and do a little organizing.  And I use the term school room loosely since it really is just an extension of my dining room.  I've been thinking a lot about high school lately.  One more year and I will have a high schooler.  That kind of scares me.  Actually it scares me a lot.  So much to learn.  Not her, me.  Transcripts, requirements, tests, oh my!

What about you?  Signs of spring or homeschool highschool in your neck of the woods?

What a fun little house! A place where their big imaginations can come to life so to speak. Sweet!

Oh my inner child is major coveting your daughters fun! LOl so cute! I will keep my eye out when junkin' for "little house" type dishes etc-maybe some enamelware pots, teakettle etc?! and yes on the High school. Josiah is actually starting 9th grade with MFW this term-he's just ready and it felt wrong to make him wait til Fall just because MOM isn't ready! :)At least MFW makes it pretty painless...

You've seen spring at my house already. I have signs of middle school, not high school going on at my house. I can't even think about high school... makes me very nervous. Hopefully there will be some maturing going on between now and then... lots of maturing!

Little House is PERFECT. What a dream!

Thanks for the comment Mrs. D:)

To answer your question, Aperture is image editing software created for Mac computers. It also stores photos in albums, etc.

Hope you have a good week!
